Bill is a retired deputy chief for CAL FIRE, and served for two years as the Department's statewide program manager for peer support, substance abuse assistance, employee assistance and critical incident stress management program(s). He has a combined total of 38 years of wildland fire suppression experience with both CAL FIRE and the U.S. Forest Service.
